Well-selected accommodation is an important factor for the success of an English language course in England. Staying with an English host family is an excellent way to practise your English outside the classroom. Each family is visited personally by our full-time Accommodation & Welfare Officer, who maintains a close liaison with families and students. Each family signs a formal agreement with Richard Language College. We guarantee (except Budget): |

| • Single room accommodation-
you will not share a room unless you specifically request to • No other student of the same mother tongue in the house • Families situated near the College (there may be a short bus ride) • Half-board Monday to Friday (lunches are available at the College) • Full-board Saturday and Sunday • Special arrangements for couples (double room) with or without children • Heating is provided in the student’s bedroom • All families selected by our Accommodation & Welfare Office |

We re-inspect at least half of our families per year to maintain quality. We keep computer records for each family so that we can match the student’s requirements as closely as possible. Early booking, especially for the summer, gives the best possible chance of finding a family closely suited to the student's needs. For students who want to have less contact with the homestay or who want self-catering accommodation, we recommended a “rented room”. Students can be accommodated in a family on a self-catering basis (doing their own cooking). The family will have no obligations regarding interaction. We also keep a special register of families who are
used to welcoming the more mature business executive or professional
person. Some Executive host families offer en-suite
bathroom. Executive accommodation is limited. |
