Long English Courses

Our 'Main' English language course is for those seeking an intensive, thorough study of English. The in-depth approach caters for all aspects of English - listening, speaking, reading and writing. Classes are offered at 7 levels from Zero-Beginner (special start dates) to Advanced.

The Class Tutor is responsible for the class's progress and academic welfare. Homework is set and individual progress assessment at the weekly Teachers' Meeting. There is regular level testing and a two-weekly needs analysis and progress assessment with the Class Tutor.

Many of our students require a certificate of competence in English which is recognised worldwide to further their studies or to gain entrance to British, American or Australian Colleges, Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges of Technology. Others need English in their jobs or for promotion.

We can prepare students for a wide range of examinations. Click here for examination information. There are no extra fees for examination teaching but examination entrance fees are not included. Students may be directed to the Private Study Centre during lunch-time, after school and during the evening.

Our very competitively priced 'Special Main' English course with fixed dates takes place three times a year, from January to March (12 weeks), March to June and September to December (16 weeks). For students staying 35 weeks or longer we can offer an 'Academic Year' package at reduced fees.
