IELTS is accepted by educational institutions in
the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand and increasingly in Canada,
the USA and other countries, as evidence of the language skills
necessary for entry to university or college courses. Many other
organisations around the world use IELTS scores for a range of purposes
for example immigration, recruitment and entry to training
courses. IELTS covers all four language skills listening,
reading, writing and speaking at nine levels from Non User

Offical TOEIC Testing Centre The Test
of English for International Communication (TOEIC) is an English
language proficiency test for people whose native language is not
English. It measures the everyday English skills of people working
in an international environment. The scores indicate how well people
can communicate in English with others in business, commerce and
industry. |
British Council AccreditationThe school is accredited by The
British Council which is a national body that recognises English
language schools in the United Kingdom. All accredited organisations are required to undergo
re-inspection at regular intervals, and spot checks may be made
between inspections without warning. All accredited organisations are inspected by two
or more inspectors. All inspectors are experienced senior English
language teaching professionals with additional expertise in teacher
training, materials writing or management. |  |

EAQUALSRichard Language College is a full member of The
European Association of Quality Language Services, a Pan-European
association which, for the benefit of students, clients and staff,
aims to promote and safeguard quality in institutions teaching foreign
languages in Europe. EAQUALS endorses and subscribes to the aims for European
education policies in the modern language field recommended by the
Council of Europes Project Group of Language Learning
for European Citizenship' (1989 - 96). Current EAQUALS projects include:

Acceptance for full EAQUALS membership is subject to inspection

Linguistic profileAt the end of every course students are assessed
by their Class Tutor and given a internationally recognised "Linguistic
Profile". This certificate details the student's final level
of English and each of following skills is graded from A0 (beginner)
to C2 (advanced): Speaking, Listening, Reading, Writing, Phonology,
Structure, Vocabulary. As one of the few full members of EAQUALS
in the U.K., Richard Language College issues the Linguistic Profile
according to the Common European Scale of Reference, as set out
in the EAQUALS portfolio, validated by the Council of Europe/6/2000.
EAQUALS provides an international forum for those concerned with
foreign language teaching and learning. It organises regular meetings
for representatives of member institutions, and provides opportunities
for the exchange of expertise and for the mounting of exchange of
joint international initiatives. CLAS
courses are not covered by the EAQUALS inspection or
by the British Council Accreditation Scheme. |
